Collection: Bearbrick

Be@rbrick is a collectible toy made by Japanese company MediCom Toy Inc. The name comes from the fact that the toy is a cartoon style shape of a bear and carries the same shape as Medicoms brick style toys. The @ sign in place of the letter a is a visual device that is a part of the Bearbrick brand. The standard size is 7 centimeters high and these figures are referred to as 100% Bearbricks. Although they come in many different sizes they are referred to as percentages with the biggest being 1000% at 70cm high in height. Many designers such as Karl Lagerfield to Vivienne Westwood have collaborated with BearBrick, sold in limited quantities.

Like most hype items Bearbrick has hit records with Chinas famous artist Yue Minjun designing a BearBrick called ‘Qiu Tu’ standing at 70cm, 1000% sold for an eye watering £126,000 at auction. Wall Drip have redesigned the BearBrick toys in an art form giving you the luxury toy visuals without the ridiculous price tags.
